Description:

A sharp-looking, nicely equipped, and highly sought-after R44 helicopter is now available. This helicopter has some considerable advantages over purchasing a new one. When buying a new R44 with similar options, this helicopter would be over 690,000 and over 759,000 USD when you include the luxury tax. New R44s currently have a 12-month lead time, which is why demand is so high.

Tax:

Save the luxury tax! When importing a newer aircraft into Canada, it costs an additional 10% due to the luxury tax.

Equipment and Options:

Air Conditioning is a great option when flying in the summer. The helicopter is Night VFR Capable. The upgraded touchscreen Garmin 750 in the pilot side console provides a GPS, NAV, COM, and functional display. The Garmin 345 is a transponder that has ADSB IN & OUT and will display traffic on the Garmin 750 screen.

Overhaul and 12-year information:

This R44 had an accident in 2021 and the helicopter had professional repairs and has been flying great for the past 400 hours and two years. The major items that were replaced were the main rotor blades, main gearbox, tail rotor drive assembly, tail boom, and clutch. The value of the replaced items is approximately 1716,000 USD, not including the labor. The tail rotor blades were replaced as they were discounted from the factory for the SB.

R44s require an overhaul every 2200 hours or 12 years, whichever comes first. The original parts on the aircraft will have 5 years and 1200 hours. The parts that were replaced will have 1800 hours and 10 years. Therefore when the overhaul is due, the items replaced most recently will not have to be done at that time. This will make the next overhaul considerably cheaper.
