Description:

A sharp-looking, nicely equipped, and highly sought-after R66 helicopter is now available. This helicopter has some considerable advantages over purchasing a new one. When buying a new R66 with similar options, this helicopter would be over 1.3 M USD. New R66s currently have an 14-month lead time, which is why demand is so high. Save the luxury tax! When importing a new aircraft into Canada, it costs an additional 10% due to the luxury tax.

Equipment and Options:

Air Conditioning is a great option when flying in the summer or when considering resale value. The helicopter is Night VFR Capable. The upgraded touchscreen Garmin 650 provides a GPS, NAV, COM, and functional display. The L3 is a great upgrade. It is a transponder that is ADSB IN & OUT and will display traffic on the screen. We love the Flightstream 510 option which lets you connect your Garmin devices to your iPad to use Foreflight and other connected benefits. A new horizontal stabilizer, the new symmetrical style, will be added in August of 2024.

All maintenance has been performed to a commercial standard at an approved Robinson service center.

Overhaul and 12-year information:

This R66 received a full Robinson 12-year inspection that completed in November of 2024.  Perfect for the private operator to get into a R66 and have many valuable years of flying.   This extends the existing parts until 2200 and the new parts will get 12 years and 2200 hours until they need replacement.  The remaining items that are not replaced in the 12-year inspection have 770 hours until they need to be overhauled or replaced. Therefore an overhaul is due in 770 hours but will not have to replace the items that were done during the 12-year inspection making the cost of the overhaul considerably less.
